About Us
In 2017 Alexa and Leo relocated to the Newfound Lake area after creating a successful team and following, they decided to start creating their dream. They are eternally grateful to everyone who has helped them along the way, from customers who have turned into friends, to friends who have turned into family, and all in between! If it wasn’t for all of the smiling faces and generosity throughout the years they would not be where they are today.
Leo and Alexa want to also recognize a very special person who has given it her all to make this possible for them, someone who will most likely not receive the praise she wholeheartedly deserves, the foundation of their home, the pillar of their success, Adalgiza Campo. Alexa's mom and Leo's mother-in-law who has been with them since March 2019, she took an early retirement to help with the family opening up the door for Leo and Alexa to dedicate a lot of time to working hard and saving money. With her unconditional love and support, they were able to achieve their financial goals which led to this amazing new adventure. She is the real MVP, On the late summer nights when the kids are cranky she has been there to sing them a song to sleep, on the early mornings when school comes around and Alexa and Leo have been up all night working on schedules, and monthly reports she has driven their oldest to school, because of her this is possible.
That is why we all decided on calling our restaurant La Familia meaning the family because it is our family that makes this story that much more special!
